ABOUT

RYAN BOURGEOIS FNP-C

Ryan’s passion for art started at a young age.  In high school he won multiple awards for his portrait designs in etching, pastels, and lead.  Coming into his college years he had to make a career choice in order to provide for himself in the years to come.  He chose the medical path as his family members before him.  His goal was to become a Registered Nurse.

HIS JOURNEY

His compassionate heart and his drive for adrenaline led him to Emergency Medicine.  Another reason for him becoming a Registered Nurse was to assist him in fulfilling his dream of moving to California to pursue acting in soap operas.  His parents told him that the only way he would be able to move to California to pursue that dream was to become a Registered Nurse in order to provide for himself while striving to become an actor.  Within 1 year of moving to California he landed roles as an extra on the soap operas General Hospital and Days of Our Lives.  His acting career on General Hospital and Days of Our Lives developed from an extra to a U/5 (5 lines and under) and then a Day Player.  He was also the medical consultant for both shows where he collaborated scenes with directors and actors to bring believability to the scene.  A beautiful mixture of art and medicine…

HIS WHY

With his roots being planted in Texas, he decided to return, making Fort Worth his new home.  Though Ryan’s childhood was spent in Southeast Texas, he felt North Texas had preferable weather and a booming atmosphere for medicine. Soon after returning, he decided to go back to school to finish up his baccalaureate at the University of Texas at Arlington graduating Cum Laude, and then immediately jumping into the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Texas Tech University...

HIS MISSION

Between working in the ER and going to Texas Tech he was introduced to aesthetics. Though he thought that when he’d graduate as a Family Nurse Practitioner he’d be working in the ER, aesthetics blindsided him, and he immediately fell in love.  From Botox to PDO threads he’s learning everything he can regarding aesthetics in order to provide the best possible care.  Ryan says that when his clients look in the mirror after he’s injected them, he still gets that adrenaline rush as he did saving lives in the ER. His love for art and his passion for medicine have interfused into his dream career.  With the brains of an artist and the skillset as a nurse, aesthetics is where he belongs.
