Cosmetic Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport in Fort Worth, TX

At Bougie Aesthetics, cosmetic neurotoxins are used to soften wrinkles, refine facial movement, and support balanced, natural looking rejuvenation. Rather than simply stopping muscle movement, our approach focuses on calming overactive muscles while preserving expression, facial harmony, and natural character.
Cosmetic neurotoxins work by reducing repetitive muscle contraction that leads to dynamic wrinkles. When placed thoughtfully, they allow the skin to rest, smooth existing lines, and help prevent deeper wrinkles from forming over time. In select areas, strategic muscle relaxation can also reduce downward pulling forces, allowing the face to appear subtly lifted and more balanced.
Every treatment is customized based on facial anatomy, muscle strength, and individual movement patterns. This personalized approach allows us to soften lines, enhance facial balance, and support gentle lifting, creating results that look refreshed, natural, and never frozen.
Our Cosmetic Philosophy
Cosmetic neurotoxin treatments at Bougie Aesthetics are guided by anatomy, restraint, and long term results. We believe the most beautiful outcomes are achieved when facial movement is refined, not eliminated.
Each treatment plan is individualized, with an emphasis on natural expression, facial balance, and aging well over time.
Who Cosmetic Neurotoxins Are Designed For
Cosmetic neurotoxins are designed for individuals who want to soften facial wrinkles by reducing the repetitive muscle movement that causes them. Over time, frequent facial expressions can crease the skin, leading to dynamic lines that become more noticeable and eventually settle into the skin.
By calming specific muscles responsible for these movements, cosmetic neurotoxins allow the skin to rest. This helps soften existing expression lines and plays an important role in preventing those lines from becoming deeper or more permanent over time.
These treatments are well suited for patients who want subtle, natural looking improvement rather than an overtreated appearance. Cosmetic neurotoxins are often chosen by individuals who want to maintain their natural expressions while reducing the visible effects of repetitive facial movement.
Cosmetic neurotoxins are also appropriate for patients who are thinking proactively about aging. When used thoughtfully, they can help slow the progression of dynamic wrinkles and support smoother, more balanced facial aging without surgery or downtime.
Understanding How Neurotoxins Work
Neurotoxins such as Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport temporarily reduce muscle activity by blocking communication between nerves and targeted muscles. This process softens expression lines and helps prevent new wrinkles from forming. When injected with precision, neurotoxins maintain your ability to show natural expressions while subtly refreshing your appearance.
- Targeted muscle relaxation softens wrinkles caused by repetitive facial movements.
- Gradual onset of results typically appears within 3 to 7 days.
- Temporary effects offer flexibility to adjust future treatments.
- Trusted safety profile when administered by trained medical professionals.
A clear understanding of how neurotoxins work empowers you to make confident decisions about your care.

What Happens During a Neurotoxin Appointment
Every neurotoxin appointment at Bougie Aesthetics is designed to be thoughtful, transparent, and personalized. From the start, our goal is to ensure you understand exactly what is being treated, how it is being treated, and why.
Your visit begins with a detailed facial assessment and discussion of your goals. We take standardized photographs and display them on a large screen so you can clearly see your facial anatomy alongside your provider. Together, we review areas of movement, muscle strength, and balance.
Using your images, your provider will map out where neurotoxin will be placed, how much will be used in each area, and which product is being administered. This live charting process allows you to see your treatment plan in real time, so there are no surprises and no guesswork.
Once the plan is finalized, the skin is cleansed and prepared. Treatment is performed using very fine needles and precise micro injections that target only the intended muscles. Appointments are typically efficient and well tolerated, with most treatments completed in a short period of time.
Before you leave, we review aftercare instructions and what to expect as results begin to develop. Our patients appreciate knowing exactly what was treated, how it was treated, and how their results will evolve over time.
This approach ensures that every neurotoxin treatment at Bougie Aesthetics is customized, intentional, and centered around clarity and trust.
How Long Results Typically Last
Results from cosmetic neurotoxin treatments such as Botox alternatives including Xeomin and Dysport typically last around three to four months. The exact duration can vary from person to person based on factors such as individual metabolism, muscle strength, facial movement patterns, and the areas treated.
As the neurotoxin gradually wears off, muscle activity slowly returns and facial movement resumes. Many patients choose to maintain their results with routine appointments, which can help preserve a refreshed appearance and reduce the progression of deeper expression lines over time.
With consistent, thoughtful treatment, cosmetic neurotoxins can become part of a long term facial aging strategy that supports smoother skin, balanced movement, and natural looking results rather than dramatic change.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Is Botox Pricing Different Between Practices?
Botox pricing can vary widely between practices, and the difference usually comes down to product authenticity, injector experience, appointment time, dosing strategy, touch ups included, and overall treatment philosophy — not just the price per unit.
Authentic, Pharmaceutical-Grade Product
Not all Botox is sourced the same way. Reputable medical practices purchase neurotoxins directly from FDA-approved pharmaceutical manufacturers. Discount pricing may sometimes reflect diluted, expired, or improperly sourced product, which can affect both safety and results. Though your provider is saying “I’m giving you Botox,” doesn’t mean they are giving you “Botox.” At Bougie, you actually see on the TV screen what you are being treated with in real time. Full transparency.
Injector Training and Experience
An experienced medical injector understands facial anatomy, muscle balance, and long-term facial dynamics. Advanced training and clinical expertise play a significant role in pricing, as precision directly impacts results, longevity, and safety.
Appointment Length and Level of Care
Many practices schedule Botox appointments in 10–15 minutes, focusing on speed and volume.
At Bougie Aesthetics, neurotoxin appointments are a minimum of 30 minutes, allowing time for a full facial assessment, thoughtful and customized placement, discussion and agreement on treatment goals, and adjustments based on facial movement and aging patterns.
This approach prioritizes collaborative, intentional care rather than rushed injections.
Dosing Strategy and Longevity
Lower prices may reflect lower dosing, which can shorten how long results last. Proper dosing is essential for maintaining a natural appearance while maximizing the longevity of your results. In many cases, paying less upfront can mean needing treatment more frequently.
Practice Standards and Safety
Pricing also reflects medical oversight, sterile protocols, follow-up care, and accountability. A medical practice with high standards invests more in safety, compliance, and patient experience — and that investment matters.
Cosmetic neurotoxin pricing at Bougie Aesthetics is based on the product used and the number of units required for your individualized treatment plan.
Our current per unit pricing is:
Xeomin is priced at $14 per unit
Dysport is priced at $5.50 per unit
Botox is priced at $14 per unit
The total cost of treatment depends on factors such as facial anatomy, muscle strength, movement patterns, and the areas being treated. During your appointment, we review your facial images together, map out where neurotoxin will be placed, and discuss how many units are recommended before treatment begins. This ensures full transparency and no surprises.
Because Dysport and Xeomin units are dosed differently, unit counts are not interchangeable between products. Your provider will recommend the most appropriate option based on your goals and facial movement rather than unit count alone.
Ask about Bougie membership options for preferred neurotoxin pricing.
Dysport is priced lower per unit because its dosing units are different from other neurotoxins such as Xeomin or Botox. Dysport units are not equivalent on a one to one basis, which means more Dysport units are typically required to achieve a similar cosmetic effect.
Even though the cost per unit is lower, the overall treatment cost is often comparable once proper dosing is taken into account. The difference is in how the product is measured and formulated, not in quality or effectiveness. For example, Botox and Xeomin are 100 units per vial and Dysport is 300 units per vial. If you normally get 60 units of Botox or Xeomin then you will need about 150 units of Dysport.
Dysport also tends to diffuse slightly more than other neurotoxins, which can make it a good option for certain areas or movement patterns. Because of these differences, unit counts and pricing should always be viewed in context rather than compared directly.
At Bougie Aesthetics, the focus is never on unit price alone. We select the product and dosing strategy based on facial anatomy, muscle strength, and desired outcome, then review everything with you before treatment so you understand exactly what is being used and why.
How long do Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport results last
Results from cosmetic neurotoxin treatments such as Botox alternatives including Xeomin and Dysport typically last around three to four months. That said, duration varies significantly from person to person based on muscle strength, facial movement patterns, metabolism, dosing, and the areas treated.
Dose plays an important role in how long results last. In general, appropriate dosing leads to longer lasting and more predictable outcomes, while underdosing may cause results to wear off sooner. At Bougie Aesthetics, dosing is determined by anatomy and movement rather than a one size fits all approach.
It is not uncommon for some patients to experience results lasting closer to five months. In clinical studies, duration has shown a range from approximately three months up to seven months. Because of this variability, some patients may only require treatment two times per year, while others benefit from maintenance closer to three times per year.
As the neurotoxin gradually wears off, muscle activity slowly returns and facial movement resumes. Our goal is always balance, using the right amount in the right areas to achieve natural looking results that last as long as possible without overcorrection.
The number of units needed varies from person to person and depends on several factors, including facial anatomy, muscle strength, movement patterns, age, and the areas being treated. There is no standard number of units that applies to everyone.
Another important factor is your aesthetic preference. Some patients prefer very minimal movement for a smoother appearance, while others want to maintain more natural expression. Younger patients using neurotoxins preventatively often require fewer units, while patients with stronger muscles or more established expression lines may require higher dosing for balanced, longer lasting results.
To help with general planning, here are typical average unit ranges and estimated costs per area. These ranges are provided as a guide and may vary based on individual anatomy, muscle strength, and treatment goals.
Forehead lines often range from approximately 10 to 20 units, with an estimated cost of 140 to 280 dollars.
Frown lines between the eyebrows often range from approximately 20 to 30 units, with an estimated cost of 280 to 420 dollars.
Crow’s feet often range from approximately 12 to 15 units per side, with an estimated cost of 168 to 210 dollars per side. This does not include any additional units that may be used for brow support or lift.
Smaller areas such as bunny lines, lip flip, or chin typically require fewer units and are assessed on an individual basis.
Actual dosing and total cost are determined during your personalized assessment. During your visit, we review your facial images together, map out treatment areas on screen, and discuss recommended dosing before treatment begins. This ensures you understand both the treatment plan and the expected investment before any injections are performed.
You may begin to notice early changes within a few days after your cosmetic neurotoxin treatment as muscle movement starts to soften. Results continue to develop gradually, with full effects typically visible between seven and fourteen days.
Because results evolve over time, we allow and encourage a reassessment period. Around two weeks after your appointment, you will receive a text reminder asking you to frown, raise your eyebrows, and smile to ensure everything feels balanced and symmetrical. This timing allows the neurotoxin to fully settle before evaluating results.
If a touch up is needed, you are welcome to schedule a follow up visit within three weeks of your original appointment. You may also choose to pre book a reassessment visit at the time of your initial treatment for approximately two weeks later. During this visit, we reassess your results and make any necessary adjustments.
Touch ups performed within this three week window are included and are not charged separately. Our goal is to ensure your results feel balanced, natural, and complete, with no surprises and no added pressure.
There is little to no downtime after cosmetic neurotoxin treatment. Most patients return to normal daily activities immediately following their appointment.
Any time a needle is placed into the skin, there is always a risk of bruising. While we take every precaution to minimize this and use precise techniques, we cannot guarantee that bruising will not occur. If a bruise does develop, it is typically small and temporary.
Some patients may notice mild redness, swelling, or small bumps at the injection sites immediately after treatment. These usually resolve within a few hours. Makeup can typically be applied later the same day if needed.
If a bruise does occur and you would like it to resolve more quickly, we do offer a bruise treatment option. When appropriate, this service can help accelerate resolution within approximately twenty four to forty eight hours. The bruise treatment is available for an additional fifty dollars and can be scheduled as needed.
We generally recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, excessive heat, or lying flat for several hours after treatment to allow the neurotoxin to settle as intended. Your provider will review aftercare instructions with you so you know exactly what to expect.
Overall, cosmetic neurotoxin treatments are well tolerated, with minimal interruption to your routine and predictable recovery.
On the same day, cosmetic neurotoxin treatments can be safely combined with other injectable services as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. In addition to neurotoxins, we can also perform collagen stimulating injectables such as Sculptra and Radiesse, as well as dermal fillers, PRP, PRF, and biofiller treatments during the same visit.
This allows us to address facial movement, volume, and skin quality together in a thoughtful and efficient way. By treating multiple concerns during a single appointment, we are able to balance facial movement, support collagen production, restore structure, and soften wrinkles while minimizing the need for multiple visits.
While many injectable treatments can be combined on the same day as cosmetic neurotoxins, there are certain procedures we intentionally schedule separately. Treatments such as SkinPen microneedling, radiofrequency microneedling, and laser procedures are not performed on the same day as neurotoxin injections.
These treatments create controlled irritation and inflammation in the superficial layers of the skin. When combined with neurotoxins on the same day, this inflammation can increase the risk of unintended spread of the product, which may affect muscles we did not intend to treat. For this reason, we intentionally avoid combining these procedures during the same visit.
If you are planning to undergo microneedling or laser treatments, we strongly recommend scheduling them approximately two weeks after your neurotoxin appointment. This timing allows the neurotoxin to fully settle and achieve its intended effect.
Our approach is purposeful. The role of cosmetic neurotoxins is to relax the muscles that create wrinkles. Once muscle movement has been softened, skin focused treatments such as microneedling or laser therapy can then be used to rejuvenate the surface of the skin, improve texture, and address the lines that already exist. When sequenced correctly, these treatments work together to create smoother, more balanced, and longer lasting results.
Your provider will guide you through which treatments can be performed together and how they work in harmony to achieve natural, well balanced results.
Our goal is to help you look like the best version of yourself, not to change how you express or move. Most patients come to Bougie Aesthetics wanting natural looking results that soften wrinkles while still allowing their face to move and express emotion.
That said, some patients do prefer a more frozen appearance. If you have had that look in the past and it aligns with your goals, it is something we can discuss. Whether or not that approach works well depends on your facial anatomy, muscle strength, and how your expressions naturally function. Some faces tolerate heavier treatment better than others, while for some patients a frozen look can feel or appear unnatural.
Every treatment is tailored to you. We assess how your face moves, how strong your muscles are, and how different dosing strategies may affect your expressions. As we continue to treat you over time, we take meticulous notes and refine your plan so results become more precise and predictable with each visit.
Our recommendation is always based on balance, facial harmony, and long term aesthetics. The final approach is a collaborative decision, guided by experience and your personal preferences.
Most patients schedule cosmetic neurotoxin maintenance treatments every three to four months. This timing aligns with how long results typically last and helps maintain a refreshed, balanced appearance. That said, maintenance schedules are highly individualized and depend on age, muscle strength, facial movement patterns, metabolism, dosing, and treatment goals.
For patients in their twenties who are using cosmetic neurotoxins primarily for preventative purposes, we often see them once or twice per year. In these cases, the goal is to reduce repetitive muscle movement early and help prevent deeper expression lines from forming over time.
For patients in their thirties, maintenance is often closer to two to three times per year. At this stage, treatments still serve a preventative role, while also addressing early visible lines as muscle strength and skin changes progress.
Once patients reach their forties, it is not uncommon to schedule maintenance three to four times per year. This frequency tends to remain fairly consistent through the forties, fifties, sixties, and beyond, as muscle strength, skin elasticity, and facial movement patterns continue to evolve.
Regular maintenance can also help results become more predictable over time. Many patients find that with consistent treatment, muscle activity gradually softens and outcomes feel smoother and longer lasting.
During each visit, we track how your face responds to treatment and maintain detailed notes so we can recommend a maintenance schedule that fits your age, anatomy, and long term goals. Our focus is always on balance, prevention, and natural looking results rather than a rigid treatment calendar. results.
Baby Botox refers to using smaller, more conservative doses of cosmetic neurotoxins to subtly soften wrinkles while maintaining natural facial movement. Rather than aiming for maximum muscle relaxation, the goal is refinement, prevention, and a very natural look.
Baby Botox is often chosen by patients in their twenties or early thirties who are focused on prevention, as well as patients who prefer to keep more movement or are new to neurotoxin treatments. It can also be used selectively in certain areas where subtle control is preferred.
One important concept to understand is that dose equals duration. Lower doses typically wear off sooner. For example, a patient in their twenties choosing Baby Botox may find that results last a shorter period of time and may require treatment twice per year. That same patient receiving a fuller dose may only need treatment once per year. While both approaches are valid, the tradeoff is frequency.
Because of this, Baby Botox is not always the best option for every patient. Some patients are happy with lighter dosing even if it means more frequent visits, while others prefer longer lasting results with fewer appointments. If Baby Botox wears off more quickly than expected, some patients may feel disappointed if this was not discussed upfront.
At Bougie Aesthetics, Baby Botox is not a one size fits all technique. We evaluate facial anatomy, muscle strength, movement patterns, age, and long term goals before recommending a dosing strategy. During your consultation, we discuss how dose affects both results and longevity so you can choose the approach that best fits your lifestyle and expectations.
Our goal is always transparency and balance, helping you look like the best version of yourself while making sure the plan aligns with how often you want to be treated and how long you want results to last.
At Bougie Aesthetics, all cosmetic neurotoxins are sourced directly from the pharmaceutical manufacturers. We do not purchase products from third party resellers, aftermarket suppliers, or unauthorized distributors.
Our Botox products are sourced directly from Allergan.
Our Dysport products are sourced directly from Galderma.
Our Xeomin products are sourced directly from Merz.
This ensures that every product we use is authentic, properly handled, stored, and administered according to manufacturer guidelines. We do not cut costs or take shortcuts when it comes to product sourcing or patient safety.
Unfortunately, there has been an increase in counterfeit or unverified neurotoxin products being used in some settings due to lower pricing. These products may not be genuine, may be improperly stored, or may not perform as expected. At Bougie Aesthetics, patient safety, predictability of results, and transparency are non negotiable.
Using manufacturer sourced products allows us to deliver consistent results, stand behind our treatments, and maintain the high standards our patients expect.
Is Botox the Same as Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau, Daxxify, or Letybo?
Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau, Daxxify, and Letybo are all FDA-approved neuromodulators, but they are not identical. While they all work by temporarily relaxing targeted muscles, they differ in molecular structure, formulation, purification, diffusion characteristics, onset, and duration. These differences matter when selecting the right product for each patient.
Below is a deeper breakdown of how each one compares.
Botox® Cosmetic
Botox is the most well-known and extensively studied neuromodulator. It has a long track record for safety, predictability, and consistency. Botox contains accessory (complexing) proteins, which help stabilize the molecule, but in rare cases may contribute to antibody formation over long-term use.
For many patients, Botox provides reliable results with a typical duration of about three to four months, depending on dose, muscle strength, and metabolism.
Dysport®
Dysport has a slightly different molecular structure and tends to diffuse more than Botox. This can be advantageous in larger treatment areas, but it also requires injector expertise to avoid unwanted spread. Dysport often has a faster onset for some patients and similar overall longevity when dosed appropriately.
Xeomin®
Xeomin is unique because it is a purified botulinum toxin that contains no accessory (complexing) proteins. Because of this, Xeomin is often discussed in relation to lower immunogenicity, meaning it may reduce the risk of the body developing neutralizing antibodies over time.
This makes Xeomin a thoughtful option for patients who receive neurotoxins regularly or who are concerned about long-term resistance. Its onset and duration are generally comparable to Botox when properly dosed.
Jeuveau®
Jeuveau has the same molecular structure as Botox (botulinum toxin type A) and is often described as being very similar in how it behaves clinically. It was introduced primarily for aesthetic use and is sometimes positioned as a cosmetic-focused alternative.
In practice, Jeuveau can perform very similarly to Botox, though subtle differences in patient response and longevity may occur. Product selection still depends on anatomy, muscle activity, and injector technique rather than branding alone.
Daxxify®
Daxxify is a newer neuromodulator that is purified, similar in concept to Xeomin, but formulated with a proprietary peptide intended to enhance binding and potentially extend duration. It has been marketed as a toxin that can last up to six months.
In real-world practice, however, many clinicians are finding that results often do not consistently reach the six-month mark for all patients. Factors such as dosing strategy, muscle strength, and the product’s double dilution requirements may influence longevity. While some patients do experience longer duration, others see results closer to traditional neurotoxins.
Daxxify can be a good option for select patients, but expectations should be individualized rather than universal.
Letybo®
Letybo is newer to the U.S. market, and while it has been used internationally, long-term real-world data in U.S. aesthetic practices is still emerging. As with any newer neuromodulator, broader clinical experience will continue to shape how and where it is best utilized.
At this stage, injector experience and careful patient selection are especially important when incorporating newer products into treatment plans.
A skilled injector chooses the product based on what will deliver the most natural, balanced, and durable result, not on trends or marketing claims.
How We Approach Neurotoxin Selection at Bougie Aesthetics
At Bougie Aesthetics, we use FDA-approved neuromodulators sourced directly from pharmaceutical manufacturers and select the product based on your anatomy, movement patterns, and long-term goals. Our neurotoxin appointments are never rushed, allowing time for thoughtful assessment and collaborative treatment planning.
Neurotoxins offered at Bougie Aesthetics are Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport.
Is Botox the Same as Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau, Daxxify, or Letybo?
For our younger patient population, we are often intentional about starting with Xeomin.
Xeomin is a purified botulinum toxin that does not contain accessory (complexing) proteins. Because of this, it is associated with lower immunogenicity, meaning there may be a reduced risk of the body developing neutralizing antibodies over time.
This matters especially for younger patients, because many of them will be receiving neurotoxin treatments for decades. Our goal is not just short-term wrinkle reduction, but long-term treatment success. We want to preserve effectiveness over time and avoid potential resistance that could limit future treatment options.
By starting with a purified neurotoxin early on, we are taking a proactive, preventative approach that supports longevity, consistency, and sustained results throughout a patient’s lifetime of care.

Is One Neurotoxin Better Than the Others?
There is no single “best” neurotoxin. The ideal product depends on:
- Facial anatomy and muscle strength
- Treatment area
- Desired onset and duration
- Prior response to neurotoxins
- Long-term treatment strategy
